Horslyx Lick Holder
What is it?
The 5kg Holder provides an ideal way of keeping your Horslyx clean and away from stable debris, as well as preventing it from being kicked or trodden on. The 5kg Holder comes with a detachable restrictor grill, helping to prevent a greedy horse or pony from overconsuming.
Why use the 5kg Holder?
- To protect your 5kg Horslyx Balancer from wayward hooves in the stable.
- To keep hay, bedding, and other stable debris away from your 5kg Horslyx Balancer.
- To regulate the consumption of the 5kg Horslyx Balancer if equines have a tendency to over-consume.
- When positioned away from other feed, the 5kg Horslyx Holder encourages movement around the stable – particularly beneficial in horses on box rest or stabled for long periods of time.
How to use the 5kg Holder
Due to the unique manufacturing process of Horslyx Balancer, your product will ‘cold flow’ to match the surroundings. For example, with nothing to contain the lick it would spread across the ground.
When you first put Horslyx Balancer into the holder there will be a gap around the lick. This gap will be filled as the Horslyx Balancer ‘cold flows’ into the space. This process can take some time, but the warmer the lick and its surroundings, the quicker the process will be.
Allowing this ‘cold flow’ process to take place fills the gap, and ‘fixes’ the lick in place.
To remove the balancer from its container, first, flex the sides away from the lick. Turn upside down and knock sharply on the bottom of the container. Once removed from the packaging, turn the lick the right way up, before placing it into the 5kg Holder.

Product Availability Products stocked in our main dispatch warehouse will display the message 'Fast Home Delivery' once a size has been selected. These items are typically dispatched within 24 hours. Products stocked in a secondary warehouse location will display an estimated delivery date and are highlighted in amber. These items require additional processing time before dispatch.
Orders Containing Multiple Items If your order contains multiple products with different availability timeframes, your dispatch date will be based on the item with the longest lead time. The estimated delivery date shown at checkout will reflect this. Please note that estimated delivery dates are provided as a guide and may occasionally vary due to factors outside of our control, such as carrier delays or peak seasonal demand.
Returns
We offer a 30-day return policy
If you are not completely satisfied for any reason with the products you received, you have 30 days to return your item(s) from the date of delivery for a full refund.
Each item(s) you return needs to be new, unused, and in its original packaging. Please note that we do not cover the return shipping costs unless the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.)
