A popular trend among all equine performance disciplines, FLAIR Nasal Strips 6 Pack offers a unique design and function to support the horse's nasal passages during exercise, improving airflow and oxygen intake by reducing airway resistance. FLAIR Strips are self-adhesive and drug-free patches that promote the optimum respiratory health of equine athletes.
Unlike humans, horses can only breathe through their nose, resulting in various levels of nasal tissue collapse during physical exertion. Tissue collapse reduces the size of the airway, forcing the horse to work harder to breathe. Constructed from FDA-approved medical-grade materials, FLAIR Strips are each composed of three plastic springs that provide the precise level of gentle force needed to support and open the inner nasal passages of the horse.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
Directions for Use:
For best results, FLAIR Strips should be applied to a clean, dry muzzle about 1.5 inches above the openings of the nostrils 20-30 minutes prior to the beginning of exercise or performance. After a workout, remove the strip by slowly peeling the corners up and work carefully to the center. Trainers and competitors of all levels of every discipline can use FLAIR Strips as an integral part of their training, conditioning, and performance regimens.
